    Beautiful here as well. Little rain early this morning. 60º right now. Two short fires a day in the boiler with Pine slab is keeping the oil boiler from turning on for small heat demand and D.H.W.:thumbs:

    yup, built a little fire, house is 75, loaded some wife cracked bedroom window and fell asleep! the 3 girls are in our bed the wife, the daughter and the dog (Lady) loaded maple rounds going to bed and get cuddle time with daughter watching Lady and the tramp! think it's coincidence dogs name.. probably get kicked too couch by mornin I figure it wont before she outgrows this so goodnite!

    That is not an unusual occurance here, no TV in bedroom, but wife, daughter and 2 dogs is frequent!

    Yup. 36º here and just fired up the boiler with Pine slab. This time of year is great, especially after a "real" winter like the last two winters we have had.

    No snow here, was 70 today, had windows open all day and didn't come back in the house until after dark, so by that time it was 61 in the house, loaded some, ash n maple chunks and shorties, low 40 tonight
