    Good info there LW.

Looks like a well built and well thought out stove. Wouldn't mind having one but 4k is quite a bit of money. And I would need a bigger hopper, maybe there is one in the works on another model??

I wouldn't be surprised to see more manufacturers put out "smart" stoves. More of a gimic to me than useful. My house stays the exact temperature I want it with a dumb stove and cheap thermostat.

same as many harmans...no tools needed to remove the blower cover.

you mean the flipper thingy that gets darn hard to move by hand after a year or so of burning? Nah, most of the ones we see are not exactly
"handy" to get off......this one just lifts off....I like it....maybe too easy to get off though

I like the way the top of the burn pot comes off. I can see that being very handy for a number of reasons, like instead of bending over to clean out the holes in the burn pot you can take it out and sit down with a beer and punch them out at your leisure. Or for vacuuming under the burn pot, etc, etc.

I spray that " flipper" thing with WD or Pam cooking spray over the summer... works fine all winter. actually the Nut that fastens it to the back of the stove.

I will be wsiting to see hiw well this thing sells, and if that technology moves into their other units. I cant see buying a different unit, but if you are changing out or just getting started, it might be worth it to look this unit over. I would want to wait a few years to see what kind of reputation it gets besides being expensive.

After seeing the vid and LW pics? Looks to be a great stove.

My Enerzone cost more than this stove and does not have some of these features. Although it has some features this stove doesn't, the Enerzone is far from the new Absolute!

playing with they keypad today.....its a but daunting at first.....going to be harder to diagnose some things over the phone because there are SO many things the user can screw up...er....change! Kinda cool in there is a setback thermostat in the system, and has the capability of wireless as well.
Time will tell on the durability of the burnpot and the new combustion fan as well.
