Wow, that is quite the "split" (no pun intended!), we go from 6.0 cord, all the way up to 36.93 cord! Get SPLITTING!! This is killing me! Although I'm just under the average (14) at 12.8, my "math" in my firewood storage spreadsheet says it should be about 28 cord. But it just doesn't seem to look like 28 cord, I can't visualize 28 rows of wood, 16' long x 5' high x 20" long splits to make up 28 cord!
Sort of a drag, my second splitter's parts will not make it in time, so going to plan B. Which is timberwolf TW5 running wide open and two orange monster mauls. Increases our one day challenge a little but the gang is game to try. Good percentage of pile won't need split anyway. In any event, win lose or draw, I will post tomorrow night as to how far we got, and take a couple of pics where we end up. That should be enough data to make some people happy about their guess and maybe some unhappy! I won't post a measurement until i get the stack good and squared up to be fair. Haven't tried this season supply S/S in one day thing before, but will take advantage of the college boys and friends help while I can get it!
