Well, didn't want to jinx my self... Since my lucks been short coming here lately... But I finally secured me my NC30. It will replace the NC13 come probably December time. I'm more excitement about not having to cut small pieces of wood and worrying so much about getting every little BTU out of them. The longer burn time will be much appreciated....

So I've been looking for a NC30 for sometime. I was watching Craigslist, last weekend. When they had it for $725 and brand new I had to jump on it.. Something about it was at a Hearth show or something. And they were liquidating the products at the show.

Hopefully this will give the firepower to keep the upstairs warm and with longer burn times than it's little brother NC13.
I'm looking forward to it. It'll probably be December till I install it, though it might be earlier see how I get around to it.

Oh yea, that's the only way to do it. After the smoke smell from the first NC13, the second one ( replaced due unsquare door) I did outside. Much better than have fans trying to get that smoke out.

Well she's in....& just in time... And happily eating some wood. Totally different animal than its little brother. Love the secondaries. I'll post morn, tired tonight. But wanted to make she was idling nicely.

The pics are from the first & final burn outs.

Did it come with the blower? If so, which one?

If it doesn't have a blower, pick one up, it really extends the burn time and heating capacity.

Winter is due in your area any day now
I'd get a lotto ticket with the way your luck is working out.

Well maybe you are steering your luck quite a bit.

You may get to give it a good workout this weekend

Get a good ash bed going in that stove. Don't bother using the ash pan. I hope that damm thing came with legs so you aren't burning like a communist. ;)

Yes, it came with just the regular barrel fan. I just unbolted it from the NC13 and rebolted on the NC30. I noticed that too even on the 13, how you could suck off that heat, I think I saw that in one of your other post. Thanks!

:emb: Well, I thought about the legs, but as hard of a time I had on the leg set with the 13 the last time. I chose not too, but I do like the leg look better.

Yep, will have plenty of room for a ash bed and still get more than 3 or 4 pieces of wood in.:D Ash pan? Oh that thing that hits you in the shin when moving the stove around.

Ashpans are overrated comrad.. Never use it on the T-5, nothing wrong with it just see no advantage to using it over using a shovel.. Say hello to Stalin for me.. :D
