If you were to guess how long each of those stacks were, what would you say?

Now, I am concerned how she might react to my new chaps....:picard::rofl:
She'd be impressed if her SIL had stacks like that, in our little backyard:D

Sure is nice seeing a wood seller do it right , a rare thing indeed .
(well almost right) IMO, should be off the ground then he'd be A++ instead of A-.

Not many have it CSS way before it's sold.
He should get prime dollar for the care he takes seasoning it.

Even if there's some oak in there, he is way ahead of most sellers

Thanks for the post & pics :)

Think he has a cord per row ?

If it's 16" long pieces, by 16' and 4' long, I get .66 cord per row. Idk

    Well now ,
    enough guessing
Next time by, have your 25' tape, LOL :)

    I cut 17" splits , 1.4 X 4.5 x 20' = a cord +/-

My laser accurate ..... wild azz guess estimate is..... 2 ricks or 2/3 of a cord per row.

Doesn't really matter though when you have over a hundred rows.....

    What's an app? :emb:

I now realize my job is to go back to Speedway with a camera, measuring tape, pricing schedule, get pics of their splitter, horizontal or vertical splitting, truck type, wedges, cants, saws, chains types, sharpening schedules/angles, species of wood, pics of the processing and cutting area, maintenteanice schedules, moisture meter verification of split wood, length of split wood and stacks, height of stacks, number of stacks, total cords of wood, top cover or not.

I'm going to need to take a vacation day.... :)
