Got it! Ask her to use her facebook page to get to FHC facebook page!! Then you can see if anyone is talking about bday plans for her.

Still curious on why men don't ask..... Is it because women reply too modestly?

Well bocefus78 ... if you go with Yoop's idea "Finally, consider trading her in for two 20 year olds!" ... we're gonna need a GoPro video of the big "trade"...  ... o_O... :D

Some women arent into those things. My FILS wife (40's) is now a huntin' fool with FIL, so is their son. And I prefer a plant rather than flowers....

In Fox's case, his wife might have said "I'd really enjoy a day in the sun mixing, molding, making faux rocks that match fireplace to extend the hearth, you will be great company and help"

Does she have children? If so, hire a babysitter no matter what your plans end up being.

I vote for Rottis idea. She might like the low keyed (more personal) idea than a big social event.

Do you have one of those wine and design places near you? I took my wife for a nice meal, then afterwards a bottle of wine and painting afterwards. I also paid her best friend and her husbands way for the night.. Went well for me.:banana:

x2 at what My IS heats my home thinks. Also, rotti's question is very important, ask her how she feels about it?

Absolutely get her flowers delivered to her at work. You can't ever go wrong with that.

Bo, I don't know you and Wild West speaks highly. Your in the beginning of a beautiful relationship so take charge and keep the fire burning! You will never understand women so unscrew your thinking cap! The cure all for the gift situation for all men is buy what you want! No Dummy, not what you think she wants, buy what you want. We are all dummies including myself! Example, chainsaw, gun, flyrod, etc. Very Important, you need to start a PACT, with your girl when you laughingly explain I just always want you to be happy. So remember my birthday or next holiday gift. And by all means have the most important people in her life at the event! Maybe not the girls who are not coming anyways, because they can't keep a secret.

Just go turkey hunting by yourself.

Anything else will either be cooked wrong, the wrong size, the wrong color, allergic to it, embarrassed by it, or just plain don't like it. Then; 0n the outside chance none of the prior happen, you'll say something that in her mind will either be wrong, uncaring, unfeeling, or cold-hearted.

Go bag a bird, clean it, come home and have her cook it up for you.
