    Utah! Utah! Utah!

Taking the class for my Utah permit tonight so I can carry in Minnesota (I literally live 10 miles from the border). Looking forward to getting this one!

You need to find a sheriffs office in pa that will still process non-resident applications.
Apparently Harrisburg gave counties sheriffs the option to not process them back when there was a back log of apps.
We called the Blair county sheriff's office and they told us on the phone that they still process them. But when I took a friend from Md in they told him they dont do non-res.
BedFord and Fulton counties will according to this link
    http://palicensetocarry.org/documents/Pennsylvania-Handgun-License-Comprehensive-Guide.pdf

You must visit the office in person at least once. They will send you a packet to get started.

IMO get it while you still can. Our attorney general sucks. She is an anti Big Time!

Oh thats different. For Pa residents
Go in to your local courthouse/county sheriff's office. (Empty your pockets of metal and weapons before entering). Take your ID and three references with address' and phone numbers(they most likely won't call them). Take your check book or money order (no cash or credit cards). Fill out the app.( the first answer is yes, the rest are no). they take your picture and call the PICS system(same as when you purchase a gun) and hand you your permit before you leave(unless they are backlogged). Takes 15-20 mins.
    Almost painless!

I just went to the sherriffs office when I was there on vacation. I don't remember the county but it was where Scotty Overkill lives.

Also a good idea of you carry across state lines is this website. http://legallyarmed.com/resources/statelist.html
You can print a card for the states your licensed in and carry it in your wallet so you know of your legal to carry wherever you go. I printed OH and PA and laminated them so I have a list with me all the time.

I was in Bellville PA, close to Scott. Google says it is Mifflin county. When I went the lady at the desk said they couldn't do it then a sheriff corrected her and told her to give us the permits. Probably good to call first.
