These locks here are full of water. I don't think you'll see much. If you head south of here you can see some dry locks.

The wife and I rode our bikes to Vaugn/ Highland Road and seen that lock. It has a nice little parking lot and facilities. Can't remember the name though.

picked a nice early HH Scott model 342 stereomaster receiver yesterday morning at of all places an antique mall for a whole 25 bucks, was a little bummed when i first hooked it to find the left channel not working, turned out to be nothing more than a bad fuse on that channel, replaced it and it's working great now, couldn't be happier with this find............:D..........a pic of a 342, not mine, but mine is just as nice, or nicer.......... well my son and I were going to try to get back down to the sandy/beaver canal this weekend, but the weather kinda sucks, so maybe next weekend, still want to check out lock #28, haven't seen that one yet, it's about 200 yards down stream from lock 27 "lusks lock" (the one with the stair case), i'll be sure to get some pics when we get there............ 04a5e21f77b18245eed072eb28a0a069.jpg 082023ee7f393ff2308f148af1bda6fd.jpg

Probably some reality show's cast and you stumbled onto them! Who knows? Maybe even video-taped you walking through the woods; blurred the image a bit; turned the light down a touch; and there you have it! The dreaded ghost of the locks caught on tape!!

I have been on the hunt for an 8-track player. A few years ago I found three cases of like new 8-tracks while dumpster diving, a lot of really good stuff. I have had no luck at thrift shops, gonna have to check out eBay I reckon.
