I split a small pile yesterday. No pics though. If I get back out this afternoon, I'll snap a couple.

Is that what everyone is saying is Tulip?
Anyway, couple pics. Most of the stuff on the ground in the foreground is frozen to it.:headbang:

Look at you all smart and stuff, putting a tarp under the splitter to catch the splitter "chaff".

    I'm borrowing that idea.

Yes sir never split without one I hate raking the yard up afterwords and my OCD won't allow me to leave the scraps in the grass..

It's all coming up pretty easy with a 4lb sledge:thumbs: and the warmer weather.

I have a couple areas to split that don't really require cleanup:D. I took the tractor and snowplow to one area about 3 years ago and scraped right down to the ground. Must have been several inches of decomposing splitter trash. A lot of it was from the previous owner.

Very nice Pete. Those size rounds make many splits each. Only thing I'd do different is have the splitter closer to the rounds or the rounds closer to the splitter. But, I see you have a milk crate so all is well.

The kohler is a terd. I love the rest of the splitter though it's very well made and has plenty of power.

I split them in half and stack them it's easier for me to split them standing from there. I certainly did steal your milk crate idea! :D

Everything.. Worst motor I have owned! It's hard to start although much easier now than when I bought it, vibrates pretty bad no matter where the idle is set, drinks gas and has to warm up for a long time before it will run without choke. It runs like it's got a bad carb really even though it's new. I have contacted DHT and Kohler and am waiting to hear back. I'm not impressed at all. My predator was a Cadillac in comparison to this motor.

Well I guess the good thing is that it will split more than just a turd;)
