Will do everything possible to be there. Late April or May would work good, but anytime it works for you just let me know. I have a new Big-R 25 ton splitter that we can use. Anything else make it known we can bring food, and drinks. Thanks for even considering doing this. I am not on here a lot but have gained much help from everyone here and the other place before FHC got started. Would love the opportunity to meet you and others of like mind.
So, are you even allowed to mention banned people on the other thread? How would we even go about posting the info? Pick some people and send PM's, without mentioning this forum???? I thought you weren't allowed to mention the other forums on that thread?? It's all nuts. I'm too old for the nonsense.
I checked yes and would love to come. Of course I'll have to see what life is throwing my way when a date is finally set. But it sounds like a great time! Great idea Dennis!
maybe you should they know everything, could be helpful having them around ( is there a sarcasm smiley )
It's amazing how many of us live in mid-michigan! I'm far from you at all, Dennis. As long as I know ahead of time, I'm pretty flexible on the date. I checked 'yes'. Would be willing to help out with food/drinks/prep/whatever, let me know.
I didn't know you were that close I thought you were farther North. I could have thrown a stone and popped you on your head I was at 57 and Elms Road yesterday and today picking up my wood score
Yup. He got the gold mine, I got the shaft, or something like that. I harbor no hard feelings and many times simply laugh about it. But they will be welcome should they show up.
That's quite a distance. You've been to Pallet Pete's. In fact, that is where we met. I'm about 25 miles from him.
Therein lies the kicker. Mention my name and most likely the thread will either be locked or deleted. But yes Sherwood, PM would be the way to go but it would be missing some that we would not want to miss. Probably best to just forget it though.
The more I keep reading here and thinking about it, now I sort of wish I'd listened so some quite some time ago. But it is okay. We still have lots of trees and space for parking, etc.
I know I ask you every year Dennis, but when are blueberries/cherries in season? I'm thinking July, no? That could've been a nice treat to have at the GTG.
Cherries will ripen in July. Blueberries late July and August. If kept well, they can be eaten at any time. Cherries also make an excellent pie! You can have the blueberries.
Hmmph! Too late for the get together. Yeah, I put the blueberries into storage right away. As a matter of fact, almost everything I eat goes into storage right away!
