what else is amazing about this saw now, is the throttle response, it is instant, not even a moments hesitation. If you watch the video again, when I blip the throttle, it's just BAM, right there. When it was stock it was good, but now it's great!!

no, I am no brush ape, more of a plains ape... out here on the plains of Colorado,,

I showed the video to my wife and she said I bring a whole new meaning to foolishness in that video,,,

she knows me to well by now after 20 years of us being together, she expects the foolish side of me, all most everyday, but once and a while I catch her off guard :)

Very nice! What's the average turn around time on a saw from master mind?

A 2-3 weeks or so from the time you send it in to getting it back. But the big wait is the time slot. He slightly backed up. I've got a time reserved for like the second week in September. But I'm not sure how far he is now or if he's still taking reservations. PM him, he's a good guy and worth getting to know.

In July I'll start taking new work again. Then I'll be booking saws for November.

The chain on the saw in that video was untouched, just new out of the box 36" chain. it didn't have my special touch, LOL

It was one of the 28" chains I took the rakers down on (my mistake),,, earlier that day the saw 4 stroked in the cut, and I remembered your suggestion about making the chain more aggressive, I said something to Paul, and he said give the rakers a stroke or two, I thought to myself,,, it's a MM661, why only 1 or 2 strokes (yeah I should have listened to him & you) I gave them 3 strokes,, my mistake.

I still have a ways to go on my chain skills...... looking back now 1 or 2 light strokes wood have been perfect on that 28" chain.

Here is a better 28" chain I worked on this morning,, measured the rakers and left them alone, just focused on the cutters,,

    MM661 FTW :)

not really, a lot of standing water in the ditches & low lying areas, some of the dry creek beds now have water, but no flooding.
