Watching "Big Bad Wood" NatGeo tree service

By their accent, must be Jersey boys.

 

Oh no we don't talk like that down here. Some of them north jerseyans might talk like that . Most of that show seems to be filmed in Mass and NH

 

I'll have to see if I can find that later.

 

Was fun to watch the different techniques they use to bring down trees in tight areas.
I set it to record the next episode.
Thought I might see Scotty & his crew on there ?

 

The episode I watched today was from Massachusetts, Boston and Cambridge.
Each crew has their way of doing things.
and each crew has a guy thats borderline nuts

 

I watched one episode and one of the crew showed up half in the bag from the previous night
They dropped a tree on a POS dodge neon I think as well - looked a bit staged.
The crazy guy that likes to fly on the end of the crane.. yeah he's nut's

 

I noticed the same thing, looked a bit like it was staged

 

When we were young, we were all a little bit crazy ( invincible )

I'm sure they stage stuff to get the "camera shot"
Gives me some idea how it done though.
Not that I'm going up a tree with a saw & ropes any time soon

Was the 1st run here on NatGeo channel. Direct TV

 

Alaska is still America and you have same natgeo as I do?? How did we just get the 7th episode here in the south yet you just seeing the premiere? Do they have regional runs? They would have to Taylor commercials and not be able to run blanket commercials in all markets do their own show.

 

I noticed the online videos were first run in April I think.
Not sure how they decide who watches what & when.
I set for 1st run record, & it recorded. Said first aired 12/5 /13 ?

Maybe it takes that long for the signal to get way up here. LOL

 

I was looking for those episodes on youtube since I haven't recorded them. $1.99 an episode. Forget it.

 

I don't think it did good there not rerunning much. I missed the first one or two and set to record all and dont think its recorded them yet. The lesser shows are that way?? I saw Yukon gold as well when I saw bigbadwiod its a history Canada show. I missed the first 3 and don't think its recorded them yet. Just one showing is all they gave it?

 

Any body notice all their bars look brand new?? Almost every bar but a few too handles and a big husky I saw have like 98% of their OE paint?

 

Never seen a tree service with that new of bars on a all saws. Makes me think their sponsored .

 

Can't read the Manufacturer's name on a used bar .
