    My FIL brought home 56 more chickens the other night. I need to build another tractor for them. Hopefully I can get my chores done and at least get a start on it because these birds are 2 weeks old and won't fit in their watermelon boxes much longer.

    Happy GF to you as well. We dont have it off but its a rally slow work day today, and Im working at the house. Going to take the kids to their easter egg hunt at preschool in a few minutes, then this afternoon I have an arborist coming to look at a very badly rotten double trunk maple in the yard. We dont want to loose this grand old tree as it gives us a lot of shade, but its looking pretty sick. Already cabled up and they braced a telephone pole to it as well o_O

    Just went out on the deck (9:30 am) and got a nice surprise... it felt really warm in the sun, gonna get around 60 here today. But, it's Maine so... folks up nort in Presque Isle might see 6" of snow tonite... :picard:

    Rainy and windy today but I don't have to go to work for four days. Lots of chores and cooking for a potluck tomorrow. Think I will make perogy lasagna and blackberry crisp.

    Tying up some lose ends at the office this morning then picking my son up at 3 from nursery school and we are headed to the campground. Momma and the baby will join us tomorrow. Supposed to be near 50 and sunny for the Easter egg hunt!

    Love homemade hot cross buns. I might get a chance this weekend to make some. Last time I made them, our daughter, SIL and two friends dropped in just as they came out of the oven. Wasn't much left after that!

    Just got asked and went ahead and agreed (can you say sucker) to be on the County Musuem Board. It's very active board with quite a few projects going on. Right now they are faced with having to move a historic log cabin from the local Fairgrounds (running out of space) to the Musuem property.

    They were interested in getting young(ish) blood on the board. This might be fun.....then again.... :)
