Sadly 90% is pin oak and I do not think alittle over a year is seasoned but its what I have. I did the same thing last year and the nc30 ate it all and had the secondaries blasted all winter cruising over 700 degrees. It will work but I have myself setup to stsrt getting 2 years minimum seasoning. Once I get all this split It wjll be jaw dropping to non wood hoarders muahahaha. My one neighbor already thinks im nuts. But I think everyone else is nuts. Where I am cutting at is 40 acres total 20 are gone and working on the next patch. There are about 6-7 houses right next to these woods . Not a single person has stacks of wood.... if I lived right next door I would have twice this amount sitting outside Forgot before this nc30 we had a smoke dragon so I only cut one year at a time. New stove is worth it for sure tho. We hope to have a bk stove eventually
I don't know what you been drinkin but I hope Horkn isn't doing any drinkin with a moisture meter in his hand
My moisture meter is packed away for tonight. Playing with sharp pointy things while drinking isn't a great idea.
Great to have next year's wood already in the shed. Perhaps not so great being pin oak though. It can be some very slow drying time for that. Another year or two and you'll have it all right where you want it.
Ill boost the drying time by closing the doors and turning up the torpedo heater back there and run a box fan 24/7 lol
I just smile now & say "LOL" & Sometimes that hurts tj: Great pictures. Nice equipment Got that stuff S&S yet?
Been trying for years to laugh my butt off, it just keeps growing. Have sprayed some coffee on the computer screen a few times LOL
