worked on stacking today had a bunch of uglies to stack in this pile. image.jpg image.jpg

I left the little pile for another stack it's mostly locust I did leave a few longer bigger pieces of ash for the start of my next stack base row. I left aporox 18 20 inches between rows they get a lot of wind where they sit plus 8 plus hrs of sun

You a busy man! I just got back from Florida and found I had stacks in 2 different place fall over. I guess a combination of shrinkage and the wet ground freezing and thawing. Once I get some other matters cleared tomorrow, I'll be busy restacking. Man, I hates doin' da same thing twice!!!:headbang:

That looks like a prime spot for drying.

I knew someone would say something about that bike. It's my daughters It wouldn't have been in the pic but I moved it so I could do a little target practice while taking a break stacking

Great stacks but I can't stop looking at your background. Beautiful country. Love the concrete pad too, must help the drying process.

That looks like one of the most ideal spots for stacking firewood!

It gets a lot of wind there and sun. It should im therory dry pretty fast I left a lot of room between the stacks to promote good air flow. Sun wise it starts hitting the stacks around 8 am and then full sun all day
