Just a guesstimate but I think total I have around 3.5 cords back at the house. The trailer is 10'x5.5' and it is heaped close to or a a bit over 4' High in the center so I am guessing an even 3' if leveled.
Lol, that's kind of what I was thinking. Luckily I am only going a couple miles down the road and not getting over 30 mph so I figured I would make every load count.
Cut and hauled the last of it today. It was a mix of White Oak, Red Oak, Hickory, and Beech. Now I just have a lot of splitting to do! Allf of this wood and the other stuff I cut this winter is probably putting the 555 at 10-12 cords this winter and I am still loving it.
Looks like it will split great Have fun You got some high quality firewood there !!! Great BTU stuff ! Jealousy from here ......
I can't help that it debarked itself....... To be honest some of the Hickory still had some bark on it but it just pulled off in one big piece so I removed it. That Hickory bark is like cutting through steel when it is dry. You can see the sparks in the day time if you look close enough!
