It probably has sealed bearings. Might need replaced sometime, but beats greasing them all the time. He'll probably get extra "treatment" at the airport from now on though.
I had to have a plate or two put in my arm after I broke it. We went to California a couple years later and the airport scanner didn't go off when I went through. I'm thinkin' I got some of that unobtanium myself in my arm.
Got titanium left knee 4 years ago now a titanium left elbow. I m killin my left side. Now if only i could get a titanium “middle“ knee, I would be all set................LOL

Waiting for my ride home from hospital, 125 miles away. Be home this evening and will spending lots of time on here. Not allowed to do anything for the 1st 2 weeks. Feeling really good and thanks to the hoarder family for all the kinds words and encouragement

Dam Rotti. I just spotted this thread. Hope you have a comfortable healing time and wish you the very best recovery man. Take it real easy for a while. Hurry up and heal. Are you able to have a cold beer? Or do you have to wait until your not on the pain meds anymore?
Back home last night after this adventure. Please excuse the typing as I destroyed my left elbow, and yes, lucky me is left handed. thanks for all the kind words and support. it appears i'll be on a fairly long road to recovery as I have destroyed my left elbow. I am currently put together with clips, 2 cables and a number of fasteners pain isn't too bad and I am ignoring the pain meds which I hate. biggest pain is not being able to use my favorite hand. so here I sit. I will be looking forward to spending a lot of time here @ hoarder heaven, just won t be able to type much. have a good safe day all.
Well it does stink that you are going through this as the weather is getting better. I just hope there isn't a lot of long term damage/pain. Good luck!
