Just ordered a pair of five pocket ballroom jeans and a pair of everyday twill work pants (also with the ballroom gusset) from Duluth Trading Co. Anyone tried these out yet? Every pair of jeans I buy wear out in the crotch long before the rest of the pants are even beginning to air. Hoping these are as good as they say. Also, entered the coupon code STNICK and got 20% off and free shipping.

I remember my father trying on pants at a store when I was a kid. He said these pants are like a cheap hotel.....no ballroom. I don't seem to have that problem, I must have small dancers.

Your gonna love them. Been buying Duluth products for a number of years. Love their stuff. Great value, wears really well. Firehose cloth wears especially well. +++++++++++

I've got several pairs of the firehose work pants, a pair of their winter proof work gloves, the Whaleback winter gloves with gauntlets, and the hooded Lake Superior (?) double thickness polar fleece coat from Duluth. Everything I've bought there has been good and durable, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their stuff.

Just need a little ballroom I guess. I am interested in the fire hose jeans as well, but they are the most expensive ones and I want to make sure the sizing is right and that I find the other ones suitable.

I never crouch down in jeans. Feeling like I'm inadequate since I have never sang soprano

So, if you are wearing jeans and you have to get something off the ground do you simply drop trou first? Seems inconvenient compared to crouching. Might help score some ladies however.

I've been eyeing up those firehose work pants for a while now, I need something more durable for the tree work we do. I go through jeans like crazy.....

I'm more worried about getting the right fit than anything. Are the firehose jeans flexible or stiff? When I think of the word "firehose", makes me think of anything but comfort......

I have rec'd Duluth mailers before and after thumbing through have liked the look of their stuff. I'm with Scotty, fit is really important with me and if I find something that works I will buy like 5 of them and they will last me for awhile. Carhartt makes some decent stuff, I wear their duck cloth pants and some of their jeans.

Sure beats having to buy jeans that are too big and having to wear suspenders to keep them up. I hate wearing pants that are not comfortable. Sweat pants or boxers are usually the pants of choice at home. I have an oversized recliner that I like to curl up in. You can't do that with pants pulling on you.

My pants are supposed to be delivered today, I will give you my first impressions. I am with you guys-- I'm very concerned about the weight, fit and feel of these since I am buying them online. If I like what I get, I will buy about 5 pairs when they have a good coupon code. BTW Scotty, I got a coupon code in the old email last night for $25 off of firehouse pants.
