Pete, have you ever tried Maxalt MLT? Are yours one sided? The patent just expired too, they are much more affordable now.

PP, thats one of those projects that once you start it you want to get your hands on it again until it's out.
    You'll get it done

Not much going on today other then an oil change on the 20 ton splitter, the hydraulic fluid was good.

Tomorrow some very dead pines will come down, some I'll split up and the smaller ones I won't.

Zap, I changed out the organization in my coolerdor; touched up some baseboard and drywall; swept the workshop floor again. Nothing much here, either! Off for a fish fry later on.
The 6" or so that we got has melted from the roads. (thank you, sunshine.)
The temp tonight will drop to the teens. Below zero! Yes, the teens -0! That's a surprise! Probably be it for awhile after that.

Retirement? NO! I just haven't looked for another job yet. If 99 saw that post, well, lets just say that I'd be after that guy for the roofing job.
If anything, I'd call it pre-retirement or semi-retirement.
And don't worry, I will make the announcement when I retire.

I have junk mail recently that disturbs me. They are post cards that scream in large bold print you are scheduled for foreclosure. I guess they came in the free wednesday paper the local newspaper puts out as they are not addressed to anyone.. Glad I know better (we don't have a real mortgage lol, personal loan not secured by house........) but this would send my elderly grandmother into a panic!!!

PO BOX address, google does not identify the 1-800 number. Boy I'd like to give them a piece of my mind, fear marketing is a form of preying in my mind.

PS, our newspaper is mailed to our mailbox, its mixed in with the mail when my husband goes to the mailbox.

I do have some drywall I'm saving for later on, once things get warmer I'll be sweeping the garage floor and we might go to a pancake breakfast this weekend.

It snowed all day today (2 inches) but that won't last long with the warmer temps coming in.

In May (maybe April) we can count on some strong winds so that might put down some firewood.

This is our last year in business (29 years in June) I thought it would be last year but decided we would go another year, we have some nice size jobs coming in so I want to be out by the end of September.

Finally I can get going on the long list my wife has for me.

I actually enjoy the lists she makes for me! Call me crazy, I don't know why and can't explain it, but I really enjoy all those tasks she wants me to do!

Just can't stand all the dammed arguing and yelling when she gets home and finds out I was on the computer all day and nothing done from the lists! :heidi:

My T.V. just died.... .... Its been a P.O.S. from the get go (roughly at this time of year about 7 years ago).... Power supply twice(under warranty)...black vertical line after about a year grew to about a 1/4" black line. Turns off and on but dont do it in less than 30minutes or you'll end up having to unplug it to deenergize it. No volume/no on&off no controls except for remote... Only HDMI hook up works... She finally gave up the ghost. Awwww.....:dex:.... Got every last ounce out of it....:D
