What got me thinkin about LP on big saws was when I bought my ms241. It was the first saw I personally owned that had LP and i was very impressed with it. Then I started trying it out on my 50cc and 60cc saws. My only gripe was that it got dull quicker.... But man o man is it fun!!!

I assume this will work on a husky as well. Any design differences that would make it not work? I mean chain is chain and species the same as you can swap it around so I assume what drives it is sort of standard?

I think I will they it on my husky 555. I have a chain to test!

I have a Lo Pro bar that is a 3003 mount for my MS 261C-M. So I used the proper bar and a standard 3/8" rim sproket.

I second that about the muffler mod. Brad helped my get a ms241 long before they were available in my area. Before he sent it to me, he modded the muffler. I couldn't get over how good the saw felt and liked it so much that I sold my 550xp lolol. I talked about the ms241 on AS, when the saw first came out, but nobody believed me with how good they run.
