I like the fist bump, then the hand exploding motion. The other one sounds really complicated.
Dex beat me to it with the T-shirt. Couldn't find mine real quick.
I was running just a few small pine splits yesterday which started up a bit smoky. A few minutes later, after I'd shut the air down, I went outside to see clear exhaust.
Nice.

 

Thats really saying something with pine!

Even with my Cat stove I see more smoke with pine.

 

The air was down, the secondaries were firing, and I could see the dark smoke in the box. Nothing out the flue though.
Pretty cool knowing the smoke is getting burned up better than my old stove. That one would have been showing blue smoke for a while.

 

And you know there is BTUs in that volatile smoke

 

Loving it. It holds coals so much better than the defiant. So much better that I have to burn them down a lot more. I think the thermostatic damper on the defiant opened up to burn them down on its own, at the expense of a much cooler firebox after I get home. I'll take the hot coals any day.

 

Maybe you can load er up Friday night they are calling for a Low of 14 °F here

 

Not liking the sounds of that. This has been one of my chittiest winters yet. It needs to get over with.
