    Nope, not yet!

Just got an email from CTpellet saying they aren't even fielding phone calls until april 1 for spring purchases. Still the dead of winter folks!

I have 15 bags left. I think i'll be ok. Burning on low lately.

I got CT's email too. Doesn't sound too promising. Got to see what BT comes out with.

Holding out to see what I can get from the box's. Hoping for a decent shoulder(3 tons worth) and maybe a ton from CT or BT?

ProPellet's Spring Buy pellets will ship starting in May and only about a $5 drop. I do not see much of an off season sale this summer on any brand.

All things considered I would buy those MC for that price and be done with it till fall. I am in the minority I believe on those, but they burned pretty good for me.

The Energex might be one of the best buys at $275

Aren't those just Stove Chows? Can be had at the boxes usually for a little less.

I've never burned Inferno's but I put the MC in that class anyway. I do not like those pellets at all.

Gonna see what the boxes have in store first. The fun has only just started, If I bought now I'd only worry I over spent or missed a treat. ;)

If the chows show up, I'll stash some. I've burned at least a ton for the last 4 seasons with no issues, Just good cheap heat! ;)

I have the choice of 2 brands and walmart. Havent been to walmart in a year or so no idea what they carry. Of the two brands I burned my stove likes the heartlands more.

They're already up to around $250/here for FSU's.

You guys are buying for next year...and I am hoping to burn a few more of my stash this year to clear some space in the garage! Obviously I have never experienced a shortage!

I like how there is a crossed out higher price next to each item, suggesting that the price has dropped as much as $50/ton in some cases. My personal favorite is Okie Golds at a crossed out price of $359/ton.

Absolutely awful prices. Sorry to complain, but when almost anything " Premium" is over $300 a ton, Dammm. Ive NEVER paid 3oo a ton for premium pellets. I can see a lot of people will be filling their oil tanks first, and pellets second.

    You might right.
At $300/ton, the heating oil prices (around here) would be equal, btu wise:

    Heating oil @ $2.49/gal = $22.00/million btus (w/ burner at 80% efficiency)

    Pellets @ $300/ton = $22.87/million btu's (stove at 80% efficiency)

BUT, if you can get premium pellets at $280 or under, pellets still cheaper
