    It's very personal. The one saw that is not for sale.... I thought about it. But can't do it because of how and why I got it.

    There was plenty of snow on the ground when I got it. SquareFile came over and helped me destroy most of it in one morning.

    It was about 60° here today. So snow is gone. But Friday night will be 18° and snow.. :(

    As for the chain? That's one of SquareFiles chains that he gave me. I wish I could file like that...

    Ive got a 18 3/8LP large mount Stihl bar. Ive tried it on a 036, but have yet to try it on my big saws because I dont have a 3/8LP sprocket that would mount onto my 044 drum. Definitely just a setup that you can use for fun every now and then... Im eager to try it on my mm 261c!!!!

    Just run it in the 3/8 sprocket thats on it , i talked to a guy yesterday thats been doin it for years with no issue.

    That's what I used. Standard 3/8" sprocket works fine. It's meshes fine. It's just "deeper than a LP. The bar is really what matters. But it seems a few members have even been running regular 3/8" bars with LP chain.

    Although the chain does ride better on the LP bar rails and the tip. But the 3/8" sprocket works great.

    The 460xp! I read about those saws. A collaboration between Stihl and Husky. Only a few made for demo purposes.

    Did it come with the little samiches?

    I have some custom covers being made for this saw. It should look pretty slick when it's finished. Hoping to have it done by the Iowa GTG.

    I really looked over how the Oregon 72LP chain was laying in the tip the other day. It runs on the rail where it comes off the bar and rides on the sprocket off the rail at the tip for about 90 degrees. I think the Oregon LP is the same specs as standard Oregon chain other than cutter and raker height .
    I looked briefly online for chain specs between the 2 and couldn't find any. My saw shop guru turned me onto 72LP ,,, 20 sum years ago. The conversation with said guru started out as cost savings on a lot of chain. At that time our crews were filing out a new chain a day spread over 6-8 saws.
    It is substantially cheaper . I think my shipped to cost for 20" full chisel loops is around $11-$12 today.
    It works great and saves phat coin.
