Anyone ever burned these? They are advertised as super premium softies. I'm starting to see them pop up at various places, one of them fairly local to me. If the price is right and they have a good reputation, I may pick up a few bags for testing. I have read they are from Oregon, that could be the company headquarters though, and not necessarily where the wood fiber comes from. No data on exact wood fiber as of yet. I have also seen some references indicating they may come in 33lb bags on 60 bag pallets? Seems odd, the few pictures I have been able to dig up show them in standard 40lb bags.
tt....those I believe are another brand bagged under a different label but the damm name escapes me!!! (CRS)
I just called the local place that has them. Correction: had them. He said they will be stocking them again for next season. I asked what's the wood fiber and he said Southern Yellow Pine. Hmmm.
That's what I said! Thinking Oregon is probably the company HQ and not where the wood comes from. Looks like they dabble in a variety of markets. http://www.bridgewellresources.com/
Steve O I think you are right I've been on their web site before looking to find some info on pellets
Bridgewell is a very large trading house. HQ is in Portland OR and they have been involved in the lumber business for decades. Looks like they found a southern pine mill that they bought product from and bagging under their in-house label to promote their own brand. Who would have thought to do that?..... Would be curious to find out whose pellet it actually is......
