Its began. Didn't order those crazy hot seeds but picked up some different ones in town yesterday. Still have some things to do but having fun playing in the dirt again. Still got 5 packs of hot peppers to plant and I don't even like em.
Nice setup there, vertical is definitely the way to go when starting from seed. We didn't grow any veggies from seed this year. We usually do but this year we're scaling back the garden to focus on other projects. Kind of miss growing from seed. It's fun to watch them grow and know that the bigger they get, the closer we are to spring.
Get them suckers in the dirt, times a wastin' We're going to give Brussel Sprouts a try again. Grew them last year, but the yield wasn't too good. Also trying Cumin again, it didn't grow at all for me last year.
I ordered some bulbs from Burgess months ago and haven't received them yet. Seeds I ordered a month ago and haven't received yet. The seed order has me nervous another week or 2 at most and I want them in dirt !!!!!!
We went out on the bike and didn't take too long to get it stuck NorkyBack at the house now,so they are gonna be in the dirt after I fill up the water trough with some swamp maple and elm. Ya think they woulda been right on it JW? Busy time of year I guess???
10 packs of fire are now in the dirt and now just gotta wait till September. Got some more lights at work that will be brought home this week and Mrs loon has a bunch more stuff waiting. Not sure what they are but things are sprouting already.
Where'd ya' get those racks, loon? Wife and I almost got one similar, but about 4x6x5' tall. Something like that. It was on sale for $50, and I'm kicking myself for not grabbing one.
$30 at Lowes dave. Was gonna pick up another one but was told 2 was enough and she'll be planting a bunch of stuff straight in the gardens.
I would like to get some stuff started in the house by mid-late April, so that might be how I do it. Thanks for the info.
Pretty sure it was one of these. http://www.lowes.ca/greenhouses/twd-mini-greenhouse_g1430446.html?ProductSlot=1
Looks like dirt. Did you forget the seeds? I really need to get started doing that very soon. Wife and I had a little discussion about where to put the rack/s.
I read microgreens were easy to grow indoors. The downside is there weren't many seeds in the packet. I will stick with other mixes.
Ha! Nope! I try to pick up Burpee seeds at the stores because they are about 1/2 off the online price. I like Burpee because I get the most consistent germination rates and the seedlings are generally strong. This year I am 50/50 with Park Seed and Swallowtail Garden.
