Almost impossible putting chains on after getting stuck. Even with that center lock he put in between the duals. It will likely pull out in the mud. I'd bet that's a yarding truck that never gets wound up over 15 MPH. That metal cleat would raise hell on chit at high speeds. Ingenious idea . Those type of chains are called duel triples . They are a beech putting on even on dry pavement. I have a couple sets of singles hanging on my trucks for a guy named Justin Case.
This looks like a solution for a problem that doesn't really need solved. I would shake the hand of the inventor just seems like a lot of money spent. You are correct about putting chains on after getting stuck. Two ways that are successful are one to get a block under the inside dual and pull your chain on the outside or to bunch the chain in front or rear and have the tire pull it under.
I can see a lot of +'s in this invention. Dry work clothes from not having to lay down or kneel in the chit to hook the center and inside hook/cam lock. Standing up in the road or wherever doing it so as to be seen and not runover FAST No second or third tightening of the cam locks. My first year trucking I bought a pair of dual triple chains and hung them up that spring 26 years ago and haven't used them since. I bought singles for the outside tires since and use them rarely. The only good thing about dual triples is it turns your truck into a 4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4!!!! You could literally pull the hemroidal suppository out of old man winters azz with those chains on!!!
