I'll probably end up pulling 27-28day stretch - par for the course in a spring maintenance outage.
I'm kind of glad we complete them in March instead of April like we used to though, missing out on the whole month of April (which is a beautiful time of year here) always used to suck

I usually pull at least 6 days a week, occasionally 7. It's not the best way to get 3 years ahead on firewood!

I'm off to cook for a pancake breakfast this morning. Fresh fruit, sausage, juice, bakery (home and store bought) gallons of coffee and the like.
If I can, I'll make a couple "man in the moon" cakes for kids!

Plus it's not in great shape anymore so i figgerd it's time to go. Gonna get at it again today and maybe start stackin in the shed too. Then off to work for a few hrs this evening :picard:

It is going to be cool working in the woods today. But at the least the top of the ground will be frozen for working on. Today will be getting some more wood for the pile to be processed, and getting some more logs. I have to give the neighbors a few extra hours this morning before I start making noise. So I will go in about 9ish. First I will cook up some bacon and French toast for breakfast for everyone soon.

After that, and a little caffeine, it's :saw::tree:

Sounds like you and I are going to have parallel day Gas. Inhaling caffeine now, FT and Bacon on way then out to the log pile to have a bucking good day (as long as the wind stays away). Have a safe day.............

Spending a little time at the range this morning. My mind has been stuck in a rut for the last week or so, I need to snap out of it. Late winter blues maybe

Yes! We rented Birdman on demand... and my wife and I both wanted our money back... dont see the appeal.

I liked Theory of Everything, but felt it had a slow kind of documentary feel, even for a docudrama. I found Imitation Game more engaging, surprised that didn't get more acclaim.

The imitation game is the one I have not seen yet. Since it involves the enigma machine from ww2, I have to see it.

Glad to hear t that you like it, it looks promising.
