    Tonight when we were sitting on the patio the wife brought out a glass of Willett pot still. Really good stuff, but it's on the strong side. I like bourbon, but she likes it more and that's ok with me.

    Earlier I had a Point brewery IPA that a buddy got me a growler direct from the brewery.

    I'm now working on a cedar creek winery Riesling now after my corned beef and cabbage ( and cake). It's a nice Riesling, I don't think quite as good as the Rieslings from the Willamette valley out in Oregon and Washington though.

    Tuesday night it was this to go with the corned beef & cabbage (its just not the same without the coarse grated super hot Horseradish and/or a little brown stone ground mustard for me:drool: ) .I was out of Guinness,drank the last one several months ago & didn't want to go to the store just for that,besides this is great,about same taste/ABV but a bit 'smoother' & not as bitter.I prefer a maltier beer/ale to a strong hoppy taste anyway.

    Tonight its Schell Snowstorm,their Winter Seasonal,the recipe changes a little every year.The 2014 Grand Cru is a deep copper color with an off white head,with coriander & other spices added. 6.5% ABV,so it's semi-strong but wont totally knock you on your arse after 3-4 of them.... :dex: ;) :cheers::pete:

    I'm waiting for their Maifest next,its a traditional Spring Doppel Bock,blonde in color instead of a darker tone,around 6.7% ABV.Normally arrives in early-mid April for a couple months.
