Giz/Emma and everyones pets on the board

Took 5 cats and my lady lab to be neutered today. Found out the other three kittens are all males. Had the parents done with them. Could have sold them for +$300 each but we couldn't part with them so that is why the mass neutering. They are all doing well. My lab is not feeling so well. She whimpered all the way home. I just medicated here hoping she will feel more comfortable. Right now she is resting right beside me. Can't get her to eat or drink. Had to put the pills in a the back of her mouth to get her to swallow. Might be a long night as I keep her company.

 

Hope she feels better soon. Not fun, but glad your taking good care of her tonight.

 

Thanks, she is my buddy. Whenever I don't feel good, she is always right there putting her paw on me, or resting her head on my chest.

 

I can relate. Emma is laying next to me in bed while I'm reading this. I always read a while in bed and she's usually in there with me.

She should be fine, were just not use to us having to care for them once in awhile. They are our best buddies...

 

I don't think I would feel so good if I got neutered either

 

Dogs are so unselfish and affectionate.

I hate it when they are in any pain.

I'm a personable guy, but if I had to choose between a dog and a person, most times I'll choose the dog.

 

The bad thing about pets is they can't tell you anything about how they feel, so you gotta watch em close and hope you're doing the right thing

 

So true HD... kinda like trying to figure out what's bugging babies until they can tell us.

Molly is feeling better now. She got rid of that head cone. It was driving her nuts. She seems more her old self. Ate extra this morning. She came up to me and did her face wash thing.

 

They got into wrestling and now out in the yard. Emma is just a little too big to get running around in the house. Pretty sure Boomer started the whole mess.

 

She is looking clean for mud season!

 

She's only been in her run the past couple days save and its still snow covered Once this snow drops another few inches we'll be out running the fields.

 

Must be quite a rush fer Emma when she wakes up to the Blurrs on a rippin' tear...

A reminder for all of us. Once the snow melts, the ticks will be out and at it again. While we still have deep snow, I have already started back up on the flea/tick prevention program. Cannot afford another tick invasion.

 

Good call with that tick stuff save.

We ended up out doing some splitting and ya its mucky where I've plowed But they had some good fun.
