Was on my way to the VA hospital for an appointment when the van engine light came on. It was blinking. Then the van stated skipping. We turned back and went to our repair garage. damm it again, mice had eaten wires. A few years back, I had another van that I had to replace the computer twice in two months because of mouse damage. We have been parking outside the he garage for the past couple weeks because the garage is being used as a workshop while our downstairs is being rebuilt.
Anyone have ideas ( no poison please) .
On the good side, I've lost 10 pounds in two weeks!

Keep eating clams and other seafood, no carbs and the weight will go down. As for the mice get a tin cat.

I did not have success with a skunk but I heard peppermint oil will deter them.

Also there was a cool thread here on using a 5 gallon bucket for mice.

I like the five gallon bucket, but I would need to put something other than water in it as we will be freezing for well over another month. Peppermint oil sounds good.

I'm taking 5000 MCG of b12. Not sure what the "tin" cat is. I'm thinking of putting the traps on the pavement, then parking the car over them so the dogs can't get to them. I won't use poison because something else will get the poison when they eat the dead mice.
