I'm thinking a florida room can't just be a screened porch. Thinking needs windows to close it in from rain and wind.

Yep, I heard it in South Carolina. I used to live in Myrtle Beach and Conway.

Conway has its own breed of redneck!!

And if we could get away from not claiming myrtle beach we would.

Still not sure why people esp in this state flock to that place like its mecca? I have only been there a few times in my life and dont want to really go back.

So I guess the Wisconsin room is the walk in fridge where the cheese and milk is.

Yeah, a Florida room has to have windows.

When I lived in Maine, we had a screened in attached porch. We called it the no black fly room.

I liked Conway. Myrtle Beach, I'm with you, I never got the point.

Id call it an enclosed porch.

Florida room....think Golden Girls that big glass room they had off their house. Usually there mostly glass or windows.

    COWBOY room?
Mud, wood splits, pellet bag and amazon deliveries

PS, the cardboard duct taped to the studs disintegrated shortly after we bought the place  :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Seriously, its ugly but great to get out of the unrelenting wind before dragging mud inside :)

That's exactly what I was thinking. A no wind room.

Wife calls ours a sunroom. I guess it's gotta be called something.

As far as the 30 goes, mine's made wood burning a whole lot easier. Used to be that I would've stopped burning by now, since it was hard to regulate the fire, mainly because I couldn't see what was going on in the stove. The 30 has outperformed my expectations in every way.

I have one of those dollies from HF. They hold up well. I used it to move my NC30 from the delivery van with the 2 Russians helping get it up a half flight of stairs on a plywood slide and into my living room here. A few years later I also used it to move my much heavier EarthStove (sans the fire bricks) out of the living room and down the stairs on the plywood slide with the help of two buyers, and into a Subaru, bolted onto the same wooden pallet that the NC30 came on.

I have a box full for free stuff from HF for my niece and nephew. Flashlights, sun lights, tape measures, and screw driver sets. They are next to a store I shop at every week and I get the coupons in the mail and from the local papers. I get 20% off on a pair of yellow gloves and get a free item every time I go there. Costs me a buck and a half. In and out. Sometimes I buy other stuff there, but not often. I have started to use the cheap tape measures. The flashlights, not so much.

My stove is getting delivered on Monday. Still havent thought about how to move it yet. Probably enlist my friend and my brother in law to move it further down the driveway. Plan on setting a fire or two in it to cure the paint, then put it in the basement till I'm ready for the install.

That is not a bad idea about the fire outside. I could not do that myself, as the delivery was across one threshold and I did not want to move it later. The first several fires set the smoke alarms off, so I had to burn it in with fans running on a warm day.

This was not across a threshold delivery.

But the guy pulled it on the pallet jack with me pushing it (even across some gravel) about 100 feet plus to that spot in the picture I posted.
