I spent three days at Harman catching up on QuadraFire pellet stove training. I have to say Barry Boyer is an awesome instructor (give that man a raise and a trip to the company spa). Mike Meyer of HHT you made a great choice having him run the program there. Thanks for introducing the Mt Vernon E2 to me, seems to be a good system. As always the tour of the plant is a highlight of the visit. The employees at Harman are the best and they are the best part in production of the units. It is also good to see QuadraFire gas units in production there. I hope it continues to improve sales and quality. There is a lot of great stuff coming from Harman and HHT. Other stove manufactures better be prepared for the future. Harman is still leading the way.

    Thanks for sharing Eric!

What are the main differences between the standard Mt. Vernon AE and the new Mt. Vernon E2? I have never seen a new E2 in person. We have 2 members with them (that I know of), but still don't know all the changes that were made? Any for the better?

I'm here, had some eye issues ( prolly caused by some of Smokeshows pm's) almost completely recovered and will be back in the game soon.
Sorry about derailing the thread Eric, but it's almost your bikini season

    You didn't miss anything.

It's 5 people that have been in PM with from day one here. Same 5 were in a PM at the old place. We chat daily.

I've never looked, but I would bet that the PM is longer than any one thread here.

Over 10,050 replies and over 500 pages. :)

(Edit- The one "What's up today" thread is slightly longer)

The E2 is based on the OE system and not the AE. I like the E2 better than the AE but I would still like to chat with the designers of the E2. I am more of a KISS type guy not the "lets add extra parts and sensors" type guy.
