Check that.... Just re-read that NPR article-" if the current version (actually v4) was a golf ball, v6 would be as big as the SUN" that's 1 followed by 36 ZEROES!
And the abundance of 50 cent sized drones coming about starts to seem menacing....
Big Brother seems like he's got a few extra brothers coming on line soon!
But really, who doesn't like a little CON-spiracy from time to time?!
Is there a frantic smiley available?:faint::binoculars::bug::jaw::sherlock::heidi:

Think I'll go  on it!

Since I had a tooth pulled on my right side a week ago and a freaking tooth on my left side broke today I decided to make baked haddock and mashed potatoes. Tell the younguns to take care of their teeth !!! I had done so pretty well but tooth problems runs in my family as we get older; so here I am at 51 and the fun is just starting.

Feel free to go on... Thinking people of any political affiliation should agree that's the stupidest thing we have ever heard.

My extended family maternal elders all have strong healthy teeth. My extended paternal elders have dental problems. I'm afraid I fall into the latter group. PS, I took good care of my teeth too...

GM all. Just caught the weather on the morning news, looks like we will be indoors today, about an inch of rain expected to fall here. So, it's a finish the taxes and doing laundry kinda day. Maybe I'll throw in a ' melt the snow faster' chant for good measure. Let the mud season begin!

  But you will never get the bacon cheeseburger out of my hand! I already ate it!

I do agree we need some types of standards to help keep our air clean. If we had none, "we the people" would be foolish enough, make no mistake about it, to just keep dirtying it up until it was nasty and we all had nasty health problems. Look at some of the other countries around the world where they have to where mask most days. That would suck. But regulating grills is a lot of silliness. It would be interesting to see if a real product comes out of that project that they try to sell to people. I bet many will buy it. I don't think too many from here would though.

Imagine if we had no regulations on the big stuff. Like cars and trucks. The pollution in the air from gas and diesel engines would be gagging. Over the years I have work around a lot of equipment, gas and diesel, and their emissions have gotten better. Diesel is one of the worst air pollutants in my opinion. Most of us here probably live where the population density is not so bad. So it is hard to imagine just how bad it is, and could be much worse, when you are in a large, densely populated area.

Unfortunately there are many, many places around the world where there are no regulations and open pit burning of garbage of all kinds still is the norm, along with nasty belching vehicles and engines of all kinds.

Rant over. With no politics involved. :D

Gas, i ve traveled to some of those places. The toxic air is no joke. It makes you gag.

This is just rediculous when there are bigger sources to work on like heavy trucking, aviation, industry. I mean grills, cmon!

Last night Joeys fever spiked to 104.8 but seems to have broken for now. Not a lot of sleep around here. Poor kids both have cancer sores now.

Hopefully the worst has passed and they are both on the right side of 100 degrees and dropping to normal. Then they can get their strength back and begin keeping you busy in a good way again :)

Remember the Olympic games in China. They put a driving ban on the city to get the smog levels down to more acceptable level. Even then is far above any US city. The US is considered to be the main culprit. However; the reality is that place like China and India dwarf us in our pollution production. We at least have regulations to try keep the environment cleaner.

Raining here as well. It will be interesting to see where all of this rain and snowmelt water go. I'm predicting significant flooding the spring for the north east.

Taking a break now and will hit the road to Indy soon. Hope to get home and spent a bit of time outside this evening.

I took the LED lit wreath, green laser light, and associated timers and cords down from outside. I also picked up another huge bag of dog doo from all over the yard. Looks like the doody is all cleaned up from the yard.

It's 43 and sunny right now.

Next up, planting veggie seeds in the starters.

The planets population may eventually have to start cleaning the outside air in addition to preventing the dirtying of it. Sounds odd, but with the amount of cars and trucks going way up in many, many countries, you never know.
