Worked outside for several hours today cleaning up and getting ready for the new splitting soon. I'm down to 20 cords split and 4.5 cords to split. I better quit sitting around getting fat and get it in gear. Now I need the ground to dry a bit.......went yesterday evening a looked a new spot to do some cutting. Locust grove with 40 or 50 trees that need to come down, some are pretty sizeable. I won't get them all as a couple other guys may cut some too. Should be fun though.

Im feeling the same way, cant wait to get things dried out so I can get out and get cutting and splitting. These winters lately have not been good for my waistline!

Post some pics when you get at all that splitting and Locust cutting for us. :)

It almost dried out here yesterday, but pouring rain all day today. Need to get back at it too. I may have forgotten how to start my saws.

You are sitting on a good amount of wood - good on you! Turning to mud here fast to- won't be dry for a good while. Had to drag my splitter through mud and ice to where I was splitting some wood yesterday and today - real hard to move the splitter on glare ice - no footing - but, got it done. Cheers!

I can wait until the snow, ice and mud are done before getting the splitter out. We're in no hurry.
