I was doing pretty good this winter and then the snow and crap weather hit. So I had lots of down time. Yesterday I start off with a decent size ash I got it down and bucked up and cleaned up some of the limbs. Switched gears and cleaned and put away saws and changed oil in wife's car Then helped father in law put new brake lines on a truck last night. Now I have 24 hrs to go on my shift at work and I don't feel like getting out of my truck ugh I hurt and even have a little sunburn too. It's tough getting back in the groove
Yep - split a lot of pine yesterday - big rounds - haven't had to lift big wood since December - sore back and arms! But a good sore! Cheers!
I love the soreness after a good workout! Hoping to be working in the woods this weekend, weather dependent..
It was downright sunny here today. If our pasty white fire watching bodies were out today, you'd get some color that's for sure.
It's funny how the routine jobs of the 3 seasons of the year take a toll on the body when winter hits. Snow removal and some outdoor jobs keep you in touch but when you get going again it lets you know.
