I think I was suffering from C.W. (Chainsaw Withdrawal):wacky: but I'm feeling much better now!:DThe weather was fine today so I got to use all 3 of my new saws; MS 362, 461 and 661 to fell 4 EAB infested ash trees.

Wow nice days work. Still can't see the ground here and I am starting to get a little antsy myself. By this time last year I had 7 cords c/s/s. Hoping to get into it next week as the last few warm days have dropped the snow down by 2'.

Good to get out and weather had to been about perfect. Did you really need 3 saws to do that work?

Certainly not! But I have them and a bad case of the "itch" so I used them. I could have used the 362 on all 4 trees by just changing to a 25" bar.

Nice work today! Your weather looks nice too... :) We're still sloppy wet with some snow.

So which saw did you like? All three could have done the job, just wondering which one you liked best for today?

The 362 impressed me most. Then the 661. The 461 is a solid workhorse of a saw, its just the other 2 preformed beyond my expectations.

Yep, I know Washington County. We've bicycled a good bit up there. Last summer we cycled from North Chatham to Bar Harbor, Maine and followed 22 quite a way. Our first night camping on that trip was Lake Lauderdale. My wife and her family are from the Chatham area and we spend a good bit of time there.

In all honesty I can't say. The only Husky I've ever owned is a 455 Rancher from Lowes I bought 12 years ago. It still runs as strong as strong as ever, starts on the first or second pull and is a great "beater saw." The only Husky dealer near me I won't do business with, real bad experience with this guy. All I can say is if all Husqvarna saws run and hold up as well as that 455 I say the 562 may just be a better saw!

:picard:I may have just dug a very deep hole for myself with that statement!

There have been a few heated threads on AS regarding the 362 vs 562. That's why I posted that. I`m sure I`m not the only one that's read them. I`d like to run a 362 and would REALLY like to run a 661.
