    Just installed it a couple days ago and its working great, longer burns more heat. I tried to nurse the old ceramic til the end of the season but it started to crumble and I was seeing pieces of it on the scoop.

    Good deal. Have you tried burning on zero with the new cat? Just curious, not that its necessary.

    No, not yet but I plan to. The stove is stone cold now with the warm weather here.
