Well, it looks like this weekend we finally warm up. This single digit crap has burned up too much of my hard earned wood!!!! :hair: No super cedars here yet, just big beds of coals.

Yes Chief, we are all tired of it and will warmly welcome the warmup (pun intended).

A little squirt of diesel fuel on a wadded up Scott towel. The towel was first used to clean the glass, so it's sort of recycled.

I'll stick with using water and paper towels for cleaning the glass.

I should have added, I use the three day rule, clean the glass with water and paper towel then allow three days too dry prior to ignition. :)

Bubba, I don't understand. Why would you wait 3 days before you burn again?

Got a 72 hour burn time stove.

:) Really, being that it's not that cold here in Georgia, I start a fire almost every morning. It's my work shop. And as I think about it, compared to what you folks have to prepare for and endure, I probably shouldn't even be here.____Wait a minute, based on the number of fires I "start" per year and I've been burning wood for 45 years, that might qualify me as an expert in the field.

OK, now I get it. Georgia. Us folks up North have it a little different!
