What a treat this morning, waking up to 23 deg and the cover of darkness again. The clocks sprung forward last night so this afternoon should be brighter, longer. Looking forward to a high of 40 today, let the melting continue!

Not complaining but I would still prefer more morning light for at least a few more weeks.....

I never thought it would happen and we are not out of the woods just yet, but it looks like we have turned the proverbial corner with temps well into the 40's this week

A buddy from work is coming over today, we are going to ride snowmobiles. It may be the last ride of the year. :(

All you nice people have a great day!

The sun is out! Not warm enough to do much outside still. Going to work on inside projects today and then head out to a hobby meeting later. Cheers!

Supposed to meet for snowshoeing and chili feed this afternoon. Outdoor fire and the likes. Mild temps with maybe even some 40's the next few days. Probably couldn't ask for better weather regarding the snowshoe walk...
I'm with you on that one gbreda....another couple weeks would've been fine for the time change. It's gonna feel strange with the extended evening daylight for a little while. Just another decision made for us by someone else.....

Working on the bedroom on the third floor. Yesterday I spray foamed the gaps in the exterior sheething boards. Today I'll out up the insulation and start cutting wallboard and hanging it. Hoping to have all of the wallboard hung today. Then I'll move on to the parts I hate, taping an mudding. Never comes out the way I want it to. Then some paint, trim and finally flooring. Hoping to be ready for flooring this coming week.

Then I can move on to building the rabbits a new home closer to the house.

My lungs squeak when I breathe. Last night I was awaken by a helicopter. Turns out it was my lungs making that noise. I am able to sleep better between coughs and squeaking. I have another 4 days of meds to take. The Spring bouquet was great meds as well. It is nice enough to put it outside for the bulbs to grow naturally but I am really enjoying them inside.

I started off plowing the driveway with the Rhino, next it was roof raking the house, I then plowed out the low side of the house with the Rhino around to the front (natural drain, getting ready for the thaw) we pushed in four loads of Cherry behind the sled and the last thing was a 10 mile ride up through 8E on the sled.

So far the deer look good even though it's been a cold winter, it looks like they still are able to get at food underneath the snow or eating some chit under the Hemlocks.

Last year between fawns being hit by cars or chased down by coyotes, we lost four but this year it looks like all six fawns have made it this far.
