    99.9% of the time, all they need is the beep. But if overstimulated they will keep going until they get zapped. That is usually enough to turn them around. My Molly will only cross the line if she knows the power is off, or if she is in the car. I just need to remember to take the collar off when I take her in the car.

    Glad she didn't clamp onto that bus goin' by Terry... ;) Yep, elec collars are the best devices made to allow dogs the chance for freedom beyond fences and cable runs. We discovered them with our huskies when one was 9 and the other 2. From that moment on... they could be out with us anywhere with no leashes, etc. Awesome.

    Kinda my fault guys as I knew the batteries were no good but she grew up with the cowbell on her collar and I just took that for granted.:headbang::headbang:

    She's got about half the 5 acres here but she knows theres 600 just across the road.:hair::D Believe me it wont happen again :picard: :yes:

    I haven't been following this thread for a while and it looks like I missed out on some good pics and stuff! :hair:

    We decided to take a drive to the beach today, looks different now than I remember. :tears: Emma loved it.. :)

    For whatever reason she did not get breakfast the other day, so when I did feed them dinner she ate just fine. I think I may have been overfeeding her....Hoping its that simple!
