I finally broke down and bought 5 bags of these to give them a try. Seeing how a few places around me have started carrying them. Well... Probably one of the worst pellets I have burned (in my furnace). My glass actually got black after 1.5 days of burning and I have never had such low output temps. My average air temp at my plenum is around 150°. The highest I have seen this year was with Clean energy pellets (163°) and these Fiber Energy pellets were around 130°. A 20° drop in air temp on a 800 CFM flow of air? Is a lot. A whole lot. Anyone else tried these? If so? Your thoughts?
Maybe not so difficult to use, exactly, but have you ever tried cutting, splitting and stacking a cord of them?
I bought a few bags to try earlier this year. Might have to finally toss them in this weekend/week and try them out. Not looking promising.
