Yes....I forgot my camera first time. Took it the second time and he walked behind me for two miles. Didn't take it the next time and he had a blast....I really do want to get a video, as it is great fun watching him.

Wheaten Terrier (Little Bear - Welsh for Arthur). He looks like a little bear.

Ok. This is getting Critacal. It is March for crying out loud. I hauled more wood to the woodshed last weekend and I'm about out again. Guess I'll have to haul some more in this weekend. Where is spring?

That's crazy. Stay warm HD. It would suck to be the general public burning propane and oil.:rootintootin:

Thanks Chief, I am recently spoiled with a large pellet stove now for 75% of our heat. Stoking stoves became difficult for me--even more so trying to load them over a baby gate... We have been burning more pellets than wood this year.

How are you stacks holding up?

Well, with RA and complications, I can understand. My stacks are in good shape, thanks to help from my son and grandson. He burns wood too. Guess I passed that down to him. And he and grandson Trent are comitted to Papa not being without firewood. I try to do what I can, but would not be able to keep up by myself. So thank God for family who will take care of you.

Well Chief, you have to fast forward your clock this weekend. Spring was forward pretty fast too. It used to come in March but now it comes in May.

When I have time I am going to cut down some standing dead pine to supplement for April. There will be low heat demand and I can take care of that and the DHW with the boiler firing once or twice a day. Until then I think I have enough wood to get through March. I'll keep throwing in some mixed blend pellets I am not happy with burning in the pellet stove. I think I sold a little too much wood in the early season.:emb:

I get several people every winter who see my stacks and ask if I will sell some firewood. My answer is always the same, sorry, but you don't have enough money. :heidi:

LOL. They had enough money and I needed it at the time to pay land taxes. LOL there is a lot of dead standing wood around the property. But I won't let it happen again. I've already been told to get my priorities straight by another wise man around this place.

I hoarded a cord of seasoned Black Locust all winter and am now burning some. WTF, this stuff is like 3-1 btu output and burn time...surreal. I cant wait to stockpile this spring, spring?
