two of my neighbors have slate roofs and they dump a ton of snow on a warm day. They don't have the copper snow guards at the lower ends of the roof to hold the snow up there. When the snow hits the ground it has a loud distinctive "thwump" sound that can be heard a few houses away.

Busy day today! Day off. Lots of stuff to do around house and camp. And I definetly have a cold. Ugh! Feel like chit.

But, throughout the day I got all the laundry through the washer and dryer and up on the bed for wife and kids to fold and put away.
This morning I paid the bills and got them mailed out.
Then stopped at my parents and did a little snow blowing for them.
Then I put the plow on the truck and plowed out our house and camp. Then shoveled at camp.
Then it was time to rest and take more meds! Then I made a home made meatball soup and then cleaned the kitchen all up.
Then took my son down to camp and cleaned the pellet stove and got it running again for tonight.

Suppose to be cold around 5 deg.! :picard:

Just took some more meds and now it is time to  Hope you all sleep soundly.

Wood stove is disassembled awaiting new gaskets... and of course the washing machine won't spin. Been here before, already disassembled and its the opposing damm plastic thingamabob that I replaced about 4 years ago. Easy enough of a fix, just have soaking wet laundry that is waiting.

Oh, did I mention I was washing the dog's bedding that she puked on again this morning. :hair::headbang:

Safe to say that your dog has morning sickness then? I may be interested in a lab pup.

Might have another to send out west if that is the case.
Or house is a little empty with only 2 dogs. We're used to 3 and love our labs we've had.

We recently up'd her food to 5 cups dry a day. It seems excessive but she is this freakishly athletic, non stop motor of a lab. Add in that she is an anxious dog, I think her gut is weak unlike the other dope who rarely pukes, and when he does, something nasty comes up with it that is the culprit.

They are outside as much as they can be, so they get into all sorts of natural garbage - wood, leaves, brush, dead animals...

So they both get 5 cups now, with the 2 in the morning, 2 around 5pm, and 1 at 9pm. The last feeding/ increased intake has helped it seems but she still pukes bile albeit less than once a week now.

These 2 have been a handful. Only ever raised a shih tzu (sp?) before as a young'n and then a boxer as an adult. These labs/ mutts get into way more trouble!
