Is menards like a Home Depot and lowes? We don't have any around my way.
It's also weird to see EPA stoves for sale under 1k, looks like 3 good deals.

Menards isn't any bigger than Lowes or Home Depo, ( I think HD and Lowes are National chains were as Menards is a upper midwest regional company) very similar mix of products. Between the 3 ( all of them here) you have to watch to see who has the best deal. Of the 3 Lowes is mostly the more costly one to shop at. In sheer store size Menards wins and there is almost always a HD or Lowes right across the street or with in a block or two.

Menards is bigger than HD in my area and has better selection on stuff than Lowes or HD.
I think HD has different size stores but Lowes are all about the same size.
Like for example if you go to lowes and looking for a tool. Menards has lots of selection.
Lowes would have a few to select from as they try to steer you towards the small selection
    they chose to offer.

Menards was first to the market in our area and I still prefer them but I don't know why. They do, generally speaking, have better prices overall so that's probably the only reason for me. Well that and I've been going there so long I know how their "system" works for picking stuff up in the yard, renting the insulation blower, etc.

the bath fixtures I have watched in the past were a one week sale. I think some of the rebates are a month long.

Yeah, this sale has been weird, no stop or start dates as far as I can tell and I bought mine almost 3 weeks ago now.

I LOVE MENARDS! we don't have one in NJ..:( My Wife is from Wisconsin and when we go out there every year to visit, I have to make a trip to Menards just to see all the cool stuff they have. In My opinion, "WAY" better that the other big box stores! Firewood Bandit has one just about in his back yard!

Pretty decent reviews. I'd be interested to know what they use for baffle material. I like that it can take a 21" (probably actually only a 20") log in a 2 cuft firebox.
