We all know Feb. was cold, now I know how cold. The average temp in Augusta where I work was 10 degrees in Feb. May have been a tad colder where I live. A new record.

The average temp here (well, at the NWS office 30 miles from me) was 13.5. Coldest February on record. I'm hoping things even out and the summer doesn't keep up with this below normal chit.

I stayed mostly shut in for the month. It was worse than I had anticipated. I know it is only a man made mark, but I am glad to have it in the past. The question is if we will exit March with bare ground. :headbang:

Never have seen snow that deep on any roof. Must have a tremendous support. Glad it isn't mine!

Apparently there is no skill test to pass to become a fork truck driver at Lowes...Barely got them far enough in the be to keep the front tires on the ground, I wouldn't let him push them in any farther because he kept hitting my tailgate.

I usually pull my tailgate off. Only takes a minute on mine.

We saw one of these big wood peckers last year. It attacked a hemlock tree next door, sounded like a little jack hammer. Drilled some perfect holes in that tree. The tree broke off in a wind storm this winter. I think they are drilling for insects that they can tell somehow are in there. These woodpeckers are big too.
