441. I have not put a drop of fuel in it yet. Had it going on I think 3 weeks now. I can't do any cutting with it yet with the conditions here. Felling on a hillside with a lot of ice and snow it's not worth it for just firewood. I did cut yesterday some really small stuf but I wasn't going to fire it up for that amount and size I guess one day I might get to use it ugh
It has been tough; I have been wanting to get out and cut with a couple of saws, but the snow is a pita. On the plus side the splitter has been getting run and the barn has been getting replenished. Hope you get out there soon!
I haven't done squat with firewood since December. Other than carry it into the house. Spring is usually my cutting season.
It's the snow that's me down I prefer to cut in the fall and winter I can handle the cold I stay warm working It to rainy here in the spring plus im busy doing other outside stuff around the house by then
I'm the same way, I like to work in the cold. We've had heavy (12"+) snow cover here since late January and I've been working 6 days a week since last fall now. Can't wait to get back in the woods.
What's snow? Usually these mountains are covered in it, but not this year. We have had record high temps this winter. It was 73* a couple weeks ago. This pic is from Christmas Day...
When you finally do run it? It will be worth the wait!! This... Much like MasterMech, we have not seen the ground since the beginning of Jan. It got warm for a fee days, but was not enough to melt the pack. We have a 6"-8" pack and about 3"-5" of fresh stuff that fell today (still falling).
