I did read it....just don't see how government handouts are going to decrease the trucking cost from point A to point B
not sure I understand the confusion......its simply what we get charged for a tractor trailer to bring product up here......one problem in New England is that trucking to get product here is expensive because many times, these loads have to head back empty....New England isn't such a great producer anymore....the trucker knows he or she might not have a load back, but will still have to pay tolls/fuel tax/and fuel, so they charge for the shipping accordingly. Don't think there are any subsidies for truckers, and they have to make a buck too......
boy, I dunno......I HATE Boston.....it would have to be amazingly good to get me there......maybe somewhere closer.....how does Worcester sound, Doug?
I grew up in Worcester, not many places that will live up to Doug's standards for Steak Houses........ Most people would say One Eleven Chop House.
there is some crab joint ive been to that's pretty good....had a big blowup crab on the roof- whats that one?
No idea, where abouts? Unless it is the Sole Proprietor. I haven't seen that Crab in years. Although I don't go down that way too often anymore. It's nicer than what I would consider a crab joint. It is one of Worcester better spots. Have you been to Ceres?
That's it, I hatepropane! The Sole Proprietor! And they still have the crab.....was there a year ago or so with another pellet company.....pretty nice digs inside! And a very good meal......if I start fasting now.......hmmm.... No, never tried Ceres
Been busy, dam cold out here. Will Doug supply the names of the subsiduaries that supply the oakies chain?
I think what he is saying BADBOB is, it's cheaper to ship by rail to the east coast, then ship across the ocean to Europe,..... than just to ship to the east coast... soooo, maybe we need get a connection in Europe to ship it back to us and all is good?, for the price of an overpriced steakhouse meal.
