Dex your house would be better with the shop and house right there. And my land has access to plenty of wood. I also have the mill that we can make cants with so either way is good for me. If we can get logs to your house I can mill them for the cants of at my place we can pull them out and mill right there.

Is swags property just a random spot in the woods?

Seems like a place closer to a house would be good for many reasons.

But there not my houses and I can't make it, but thats just my thoughts.

The house is an amenity... IMO

We all have a grill we can bring to cook on. And as far as a bathroom? He rented an outhouse in May, but in Oct, I didn't when it was at my place. My house was open to everyone, but I do not think anyone used it. Most went beside my barn. But I am in a pretty rural spot. Swags new property from what I have seen is very rural.

We can bring in an outhouse.... Most of the population is men though. There was several women in May, but these are not girly girls. They can shoot a gun, a bow, sharpen a knife and run a saw. Not high maintenance, although they are beautiful. Real women. :D I hope I worded that right. I know Swags wife and my wife are not afraid to get dirty.

How do want to do this swags? Send the pic of your coin to a selected member and I send my heads or tails reply? Or... Just do it here. I call it. You flip it?

I missed this comment after I proofread my last one.

Your call brother. With a mill, that would make it easy and cheap. I can bring a saw or two out one weekend and we can knock it out.

No matter where it is. The Cants are one the higher priced items. Unless they are free. :)

Let's do it at your house, the shop and house will make it a lot easier. I can come out the week before and we can mill the logs.

Will we have logs available there or should I plan on getting logs here and bringing them out?

So what date? Somewhere around end of May? 25th is Memorial Day and June 6th is the concert weekend for Kenis. So maybe May 30, or June 13.

The 30th would be best. The 13th is possible, I will just have to request a vacation day.

The logs...? I have an add out in CL and I am supposed to call a guy today about a place to cut. He is only 12 miles away. So hopefully he and I can work something out.

I just acquired access (literally on Friday night eating wings at the tavern on the mountain) to a HEAP of pine logs, already dropped and limped and ready to haul out. Bring a tractor/trailer to my place and we'll take the to the GTG!!

You guys are always welcome to cut and haul anything you want out of here for free. Spring time (if wet/soft) access out back is the only limiting factor to consider. I'm about a half hour east of swags.

A log load isn't a problem for me, if you want to come out this way we can get a few cord on my trailer. I could arrange for a bobcat to be there and we could get a good size load.

And if y'all were around here I could hook you up with literally hundreds of freshly dead pines to cut cants from. I am sure I could find some that would yield some 20x20 cants. Most could be dropped into a road. Or skidded with a bobcat.

Pine logs are for wimps .................................. I'll fix you up with some nice straight smooth bark hickory ones to weed out the pack. Better yet, how about some nice ironwood ones, I have lots of those too! :D

We raced in shag bark hickory at gtg years ago. That weeds out those :zip: chains real quick.
