    Okay, but so was this.
Late seventies had my first job and got ripped off buying a '69 Ski Doo that the former owner had painted all black and transplanted a Hirth engine into. Drove it for a couple of weeks and then the clutch fell off one day. Towed it back home to where I was renting and discovered the crankshaft had sheared off right at the clutch.
Landlord had an arc welder so I welded it back on but that lasted only a day. Welded it back on again, filled the gas tank and went down the road to visit my cousin. Left his place and as soon as I got on the lake hit the throttle. The clutch came off again. This was after dark and I was furious and had had enough of this piece of crap.
I turned off the gas cap and turned the machine on it's side and drained all the gas onto the ice. Then I dragged the machine over the gas, lit a match to it and hurled insults at it as it burned! It was not going to cause me trouble again. I walked back to by cousins and told him to look out the window at the orange glow from the horizon. We both walked back to the carcass and got a good laugh out of it.
Another friend towed the bones off the ice the next day.

My wife does this. Her car is our primary family vehicle. It never fails, when I go to get in it, the needle is on empty and the light is on. Yeah the Ford Explorer tells me how many miles I have until empty. Though that is a bit of guess work based on driving conditions/habits. Harder when it's 10 degrees out and you should be warming up the car before going down the road. It's 7 miles to town, and I've gotten in with on 8miles left to go.

Yeah, I corrected it right away, just took the photo after cutting the mistake. The wallpaper was a mistake too.........wife #2's desire..................wife #3 took care of that right away!

If at first you don't succeed ............................................

Actually, the first two were simple dissolutions. Now the 3rd, that was a full blown battle with kids. Let's just say that my remaining minor daughter is living with me and I'm the one getting a token monthly payment.

Went to a bbq out here on the lake today, I was feeling the windburn and chapped lips and dried out eyes. Didn't even think about sunscreen. Women
