Hope you and yours are all well. How's the home toilet vs daycare toilet going? I bought a lid for our adult toilet with a step for her last year. It was moved while remodeling and put into storage, then reinstalled, then moved again and stored til the new toilet was in, now missing pieces. I might get a new one to transition from princess potty to real toilet.

I believe this advice was the key to success. The old bathroom was/is not great for a lil one so I always closed the door. Our new bathroom is far from complete but it has a second terlit and sink, and no space heaters with buttons and dials or vice grip handles on the hot water valve LOL :). The young'uns potty chair is in there next to the new terlit. Going to the head together worked great! Thanks again kind friend.

You men go to bathroom together in pairs too? Like women do at a restaurant?

Doing pretty good here... little guy spent half of Saturday and over night with Grandpa, only had one accident and the was grandpa's fault, forgot to put pull up on for bed time:doh: Little guy caught a cold on monday, but has been doing good potty wise. Only accidents at home where due to an upset tummy. Still goes more willingly at daycare, but getting better at home.

I'm late to the party. Went through this last year. One boy would have no accidents but want a diaper for a deuce. That got old, bribery came into play. image.jpg

That worked pretty good so we tried it with #2.
image.jpg Still had some issues but it helped. As my dad said, never met a 5th grader that couldn't poop on the toilet.
As frustrating as it can be, this too shall pass.

We got the 23 month old to poop in the potty today. We just started her trying today with pull ups. She peed in the floor once when she got up to grab toy to set back down so far. Very pleased with this on day one.

We're starting earlier on this one. Hoping she will be more interested now than she will later when it's not as convenient. We waited til 2.5 years old on the other one and it was way harder.

We started just after ours turned two, and went to the two year old room at daycare... they really work with the kids on potty training in that room, and really helps to have other kids using the potty, monkey see monkey do-do kinda thing. (yeah sorry for the pun) We started off great, but shortly after we started little guy went through a sick streak (thanks to a plugged ear tube) Once we got that fixed, and really got him on the mend, it's been a long road, he has been doing great... well if you don't count the other day when he had way to much juice and to many oranges... that was dads fault. Still working on #2's in the potty, but getting there!

We got a pee in the potty before bed time here so that's a plus for day one.
